A reality web series focused on getting people drunk and having them compete in weird competitions.
Hello drunk people, how’s your hangover?
Let me begin by saying how lovely it is to get all these requests and ideas for new material for Dead Drunk but Trying, it really gives us the inspiration to keep going and to drink more alcohol.
Right now we are gathering our ideas up, getting contestants ready and buying beer. We hope to be able to film a few episodes in the end of April, since we will all be in the same country then for the first time in 3 months. If that goes as planned, we will proudly be releasing new episodes in May / June, so stay tuned, focused and above all, drunk!
Keep the ideas coming! Even though we don’t answer all of them, we read every single one of ‘em, store the good ones and use the bad ones as fire food for making our own vodka. What? The economy is fucked, we need cheap alcohol!
Bottoms up!
We’ll be releasing new episodes in the beginning of this summer.
Thanks for asking and watching, bottoms up!
I’m not sure what kind it is, but it’s an expensive one we borrow from a friend who works at a place who sells these to police and others.
The measurements are actually in per mil, which, by Wikipedia, is “a tenth of a percent or one part per thousand. It is written with the sign ‰.”
So .7% BAC is actually 7‰ per mil BAC. That means that if someone is measured 2.5‰ BAC, they are actually .25% BAC :)

We love Koskenkorva, it’s got a nice taste to it. But for the first episode we kinda randomly selected some drinking material. After that we’ve been drinking Red Square Vodka.

We’ll throw that on our list of ideas board, thanks for the suggestions!

Of course! :D That’s the national drink of Iceland and if you eat shark, you have to drink Brennivin with it. Fun Fact; Brennivin means “Burning Wine”
Thanks for asking and watching, bottoms up!
Reyka Vodka is fantastic! It’s almost the only vodka we drink here in Iceland, even though it’s a bit expensive. You can drink it dry without any problems, it tastes like water :)

We just follow the same law as stated in each country we film in. We’ll probably be filming in San Francisco before this summer, so there it would be 21 years old. So for Iceland, it’s 20 years old.
If you want to compete, just send us an e-mail to deaddrunk [at] buttrying [dot] com and we’ll let you know if there’s a spot for you to showcase your skills! :)

None, what so ever :)
If you can get us scissors that don’t kill people who are extremely drunk and don’t fully control their body movement then we’ll consider it. Until then, we’ll just get them to throw water balloons full of vodka at each other and play chess-box :)
